Virginia C. Cross, 92, of Amarillo,will have a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 9, 2010, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Chapel, with Monsignor Harold Waldow officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery, under the direction of Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors. Visitation will be Friday, September 8, 2010 3:00 PM until 8 PM at Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors. Virginia was a very active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church having served with the Altar Rosary Society, a den mother, and a room mother for St. Mary’s School. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Cross and a son, Samuel Cross. She is survived by :son: Edward I. Cross and wife Kay of Ashburn, VA; daughter-in-law: Kaye Cross of Amarillo; 3 grandchildren, Patrick Cross and wife Brenda of Herndon, VA, Samuel Cross and wife Amber of Lubbock, Stephanie Ward and husband Chris of Muskogee, OK; and seven great grandchildren
