

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Pioneer Chapel with daughter, Nan Peters, officiating. Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.
Vivian was born Oct. 18, 1918, in Ratcliff to J.W. and Seleda Hutson Smelley. Vivian met the love of her life, Boyd Woods, and married in 1939. They were blessed to have celebrated 64 years of marriage. Vivian was the
epitome of hospitality and generosity. She had a special spirit with the unique ability to brighten the day. She will be remembered for her warmth, enthusiasm and grateful heart, which enabled her to experience life with a positive attitude. Vivian was a member of Southwest Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T. Boyd Woods, three sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Woods Wright and husband Robert of Amarillo and Nan Woods Peters and husband Ted of Southlake; four grandchildren, Robb Wright and wife Jennifer, Randy Wright and wife Leann, Coulson Boyd Mullen and Mendy Landreth and husband Craig; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Harrington, Childers Place and Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospice for their loving care.
The family suggest memorials be to High Plains
Children’s Home; or Christian Relief Fund.
