Wanda was born on June 13, 1930 in rural Linden, TX to Elonzo and Lee Mae Martin. She married Leroy “Bo” Owens, and together they enjoyed traveling in their RV before Bo passed away. In her retirement years, Wanda found pleasure in playing just about any card game she could, especially SkipBo.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her beloved Bo, and son Keri Lee Owens. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Karen Owens and her husband Jerry Kern of Canyon, granddaughter Jennifer Hicks and husband Logan of Amarillo; three additional grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
