Bill was born February 16, 1959 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He moved to Amarillo in 1975 and attended Amarillo High School. He loved motorcycles, camping, darts, collecting knives and he really liked his beer.

Bill was preceded in death by his Dad, John James Erickson, Sr., his mother, Ann Elizabeth Erickson, sisters, Ann Richerson, Eileen Devito and husband Johnny Devito and brother in law Bill Burlewr.

Bill is survived by Sisters, Maureen Burlew, Colorado Spring, CO; Sharon Erickson Veilleux and partner John McPherson of Frankston, Texas. Brothers, John Erickson, of Orlando, Florida, Mike Erickson of Colorado Springs, CO and Tom Erickson and partner Jamie Avara of Amarillo and Brother In Law Shaun Richerson, Ardmore, Oklahoma and Sister-In-Law Tina Erickson. Nephew and God son Nicholas Erickson, nephew Billy Burlew, and nieces, Nicole Burlew, Megan and Alyssa Richerson, Alexis Erickson,
