Esequiel Garcia, Jr. was born on January 12, 1981, in his parents' car while in route to UCI Medical Center in Orange, CA. Tragically, he passed away on his 44th birthday, January 12, 2025, in Anaheim, CA.
A graduate of Magnolia High School, Esequiel worked as a supervisor for Perma-Liner Industries. Known for his charismatic personality, Esequiel had a unique gift for making others laugh and bringing joy to those around him. His humor and infectious laughter were central to who he was, and he never missed an opportunity to put a smile on someone's face.
Esequiel had a passion for sports, particularly the Los Angeles Dodgers, Lakers, and Raiders. In his free time, he could often be found watching wrestling with his brothers or enjoying quality moments with his two beloved daughters, Alyssa and Destiny. Family was everything to Esequiel, and he was deeply devoted to them. His diligence in his work and unwavering devotion to his loved ones defined him.
Esequiel is survived by his two daughters, Alyssa Garcia and Destiny Garcia; his father, Esequiel Garcia, Sr.; his brothers, Tony and Joe Garcia; his sisters, Sofia Diaz and Bertha Garcia; and many other cherished family members. He is preceded in death by his mother, Felicitas Copado Ortiz, and his brother, Hugo Diaz.
Esequiel will be missed immensely by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the laughter and love he shared.
A visitation for Esequiel will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Anaheim, 2425 W. Lincoln Ave., Anaheim, CA 92801. A funeral mass will occur Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Our Lady Of The Pillar Church, 1622 W. 6th Street, Santa Ana, CA 92703. A final resting place will occur Friday, February 7, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Loma Vista Memorial Park, 701 E. Bastanchury Rd., Fullerton, CA.
