Jenny attended Magnolia High School, where she met the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, Sande Lee Madden. They shared a lifelong bond, and Jenny’s love for Sande never wavered, from the day they met until her passing.
Jenny worked as a Cafeteria Lead at Walt Disney Elementary School, where she took pride in caring for the children. She was a devoted mother to her son Robert and daughter Stephanie, and a proud grandmother to four grandchildren—Robbie, Dillon, Cassandra, and Christian—and a cherished great-granddaughter, Elora.
A woman of deep generosity, Jenny was also known for her strong-willed nature and determination, always providing for her family with love and care. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially cooking for those she loved. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond the kitchen as she enjoyed crocheting, watching Korean dramas, and following her favorite soap operas. Gardening was another of her passions, where she found peace and joy in nurturing life.
Jenny’s heart was full of love for her family, and she was a firm yet caring presence in their lives. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Karjala; her brother, Steve Puente; her sister-in-law, Rosemarie Puente; her son-in-law, Ken Karjala; her grandchildren—Christian Karjala, Dennis Carlos II, Robbie Madden, Dillon Madden, Carmen Karjala, Cassandra Carlos—and her great-granddaughter, Elora Carlos. Her nephew, Steve Puente Jr., and niece, Andrea Puente, also survive Jenny.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sande Lee Madden; her son, Robert Madden; her parents, Rosalio Puente and Frances Saldana; and her sister, Rosalia Puente.
Jenny’s presence will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love, devotion, and family will continue to guide all those who knew her.
