

Born in New Jersey on April 19, 1949, the Valeri family moved to California in 1951. In 1967 Linda graduated from Magnolia high school in Anaheim. In 1974 she graduated from California State University Fullerton with a Masters degree in Fine Arts. Linda taught at Rio Hondo College & later earned her Doctorate in education from Nova University in Florida. She later served as Dean of Student Services at ISIM in Santa Barbara.
She was an accomplished artist as reflected in her works ranging from oil paintings to stained glass windows she created & her one of a kind jewelry pieces. She touched people’s lives with her positive attitude & sense of humor. Linda’s other passions were helping people and animals. She was recently employed at St. Michael’s Hospice in Santa Fe Springs, Ca. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony & Mildred Valeri, and is survived by her sister, Nancy, nephew, Robert Anthony, aunts, many cousins and a host of lifelong, loving friends.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, April 26, at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church in Anaheim, California.
