Carmen Ortiz-Rivera

Carmen was born on March 24th, 1941 in Puerto Rico. She attended school in Puerto Rico. She was a homemaker for her family and worked various jobs over the years. She enjoyed going to the casino, dinner with family, dancing, playing bingo with friends, cooking for her family but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Carmen was a compassionate, beautiful, nice, happy and loving person. She would help all in need of her help if she could.

Carmen was preceded in death by her first husband, Carmelo Calderon Sr.; second husband, Anastasio Varlera; third husband, Federico Ortiz; parents; three children, Richard Calderon, Anasto Varela Jr and Orlando Varela; a great grandson, Jay Jay Varela and three brothers, Carolo Rivera, Angel Louis Rivera and Marcello Rodrigues. She is survived by her children, Carmelo (Dolores) Calderon, Darlene Calderon, Alex (Sonya) Garcia and Dennis (Melcy) Rivera; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
