Bill was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on September 11, 1927. Before the stroke, Bill enjoyed hiking, biking, skiing and enjoying his many friends in Colorado, often starting the day at his favorite coffee shop.
Bill is survived by his four daughters, Kathy Barlean (Brian), Carey Swanson (Craig), Maggie Jezreel (Jack), and Sara Bowers. He is also survived by sons, Trey (CJ) Bowers and Dan (Debbie) Bowers, 20 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Vineyard Community Church, located at 2332 Euclid Ave on Saturday, August 30th, at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:30.
In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest a memorial contribution to the Vineyard Community Church in Bill’s name.
