Donna Kessler

Donna Louise Kessler passed away peacefully on April 11, 2023, at Iowa Methodist Hospital. Donna was born to Dayton and Louise Kessler on March 8, 1943. She grew up in Urbandale, Iowa, and attended Urbandale High School, Grand View College, and Drake University. She worked for the Iowa Department of Human Services for thirty-seven years. She was very proud of those years and made many wonderful friendships.

Donna was a member of First Federated Church for many years. She also was very active in her Knitting Group. Other hobbies she enjoyed were baking and caring for her flower garden.

A private family graveside service will be held at Glendale Cemetery on Thursday, April 13.

Donna was preceded in death by her sisters Karen Becky Kessler and Linda Ann Madson, nephew Jay Brian Madson, and parents Dayton Foster Kessler and Louise Kennedy Kessler. Donna is survived by many cousins; and her Aunt Melba Kennedy Page of San Diego, California.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Urbandale Fire or Police Departments, 3927 121st Street, Urbandale, Iowa 50323 in honor of Donna.
