

Ronald E. Jensen, 75, made his transition Monday, July 9, 2012 at Perry Lutheran Home in Perry, Iowa. A Celebration of Life was held at 1:30pm August 18, 2012 at King Arthur’s Court in Gardiner, MT 59030.
Ronald was born on August 16, 1936 to Elbert William and Dorothy Smith Jensen in Landisville, Pennsylvania.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Jensen of Des Moines, IA; daughters, Stacy (Darnell) Jensen-Horton of Ackworth, Georgia; Jaylyn Jensen of North Beach, Maryland; step children, Deanna M. (Glaston) Ford of Cedar Park, Texas, Reverend Kathryn Trucano of Bozeman, Montana, James C. Trucano of Des Moines, Iowa, Suzanne (Rich) Lomasney of Brookfield, Illinois; eighteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, brothers, Howard (Dottie) Jensen of Chalfont, Pennsylvania; Robert Jensen of Bozeman, Montana; and a sister, Audrey (Otis) Davis of Farmington, New Mexico.
Ronald was a devoted husband, father, step-father, grandfather and great grandfather, friend and brother. He was known for his patriotism, love of freedom, love of music and his devotion to God. Ronald was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. Ronald and JoAnn lived in Emigrant, MT in Paradise Valley from 1989 to 2006. He served as a volunteer fireman the majority of his life and in particular from 1990 to 2006 as a member of the Paradise Valley Volunteer Fire Department as well as a member of the singing group "Glastonbury Travelers."
