

Vivian passed into the welcoming arms of Jesus on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was two days shy of her 93rd birthday on July 21st. She was born to Silas Orlean and Emma Bertina (Dahl) Sannan on July 21, 1930, in Twin Valley, Minnesota on her grandparent’s farm. Services are scheduled on Friday, July 28th at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Grimes, Iowa. Visitation will start at 10 am with a service at 11 am. Burial will take place the following day, Saturday, July 29th at the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota at 11 a.m.
Vivian worked in the kitchen for Normandale Community College. She loved to cook great meals for all. Her walleye fish fry was renowned, she assisted Dad with his dream cottage at Big Bowstring Lake in Deer River, Minnesota. Vivian and Paul were united in marriage for 64 years, until his passing in 2013. Vivian was admired for her finance skills and her truly amazing love for her immediate family. The family has fond memories of her sharing her precious photography records. They smile just thinking about her joy and energy for life. Our endeared Mother and Grandmother is now reunited with her one true love, Paul.
She is survived by two brothers, Lowell (JoAnne), and Stan (Pat) Sannan; sister-in-law, Ruth Bonstrom Kramer; children, Paul Jr (Barbara) Bonstrom, Barbara (Chuck) Parks-Caldwell, and Dan (Mary) Bonstrom; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bonstrom Sr.; brother, Milford (Mel) Sannon; sister, Gloria Brynteson; and her parents.
