Benjamin Charles Pierce 5/3/2001 - 11/8/2016 Ann Arbor, Michigan, Ben of Ann Arbor, Michigan died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 due to a sudden accident. Ben was 15 years old and a sophomore at Huron High School. He left behind his mother: Julie Mansell Pierce, father: Steven Charles Pierce, four siblings: Lara Elizabeth (age 17), David Harrison (13), William Robert (10) and Livia Morgan (7), grandparents: Robert and Kathleen Mansell and Robert and Mary Ann Pierce. Ben was an adventurous spirit who was dearly loved by family and friends, and will be remembered for his passion for life. He developed a recent desire to work as a child-, or forensic-psychologist, and was undaunted by the requisite education. With great determination and perseverance, he recently started vigorous exercise and lifting, which resulted in an over fifty pound weight loss over the past summer; his neighbors often saw him running sprints in the backyard. He was excited for his future, and in that spirit, it seemed appropriate to preserve his legacy by investing in the educational futures of his four siblings. Memorial contributions can be made to his siblings’ educational fund. A funeral service will be Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel of the Holy Trinity - Concordia University, Ann Arbor (4090 Geddes Rd) with visitation at the Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. The visitation will be on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 2:00 until 5:00 and from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M at Muehlig Funeral Chapel of Ann Arbor.
