Chris helped me out in a time of struggle and gave me the opportunity to better myself. His impact on my life was very crucial to me even in a short amount of time. I'm sorry for your loss Mary and Allison. I will always remember the good deeds he did for people and his love for dogs...god bless you chris.

   Chris was a good friend to everyone. I am glad to have known him for so long. He was a person that I was always happy to see.
   When we were kids he gave me the idea that I could play with tractors and get paid. I starter cutting lawn in my neighborhood shortly after and still do to this day. 
   My brothers and I, will all miss seeing him around.

Mary and Alison, I am so sorry that you have to bear the loss of your beloved Chris. Wishing you solace and strength.

Chris was a good and honorable person, and a great friend to my family. We are sending many prayers for all of his family and friends that are struggling right now. He will be deeply, deeply missed.

I could always count on Chris to enter my Wines art room with a smile.  Many years later, when I needed assistance with a flat tire, I discovered that same warm smile at a service station at Packard and Stadium.  That smile, and the boy/man behind it, is how I will always remember Chris.

To the family of Chris and all that knew and loved him: Chris was one of my really excellent students at Forsythe. I was so happy to meet him again as an adult about 2 years ago. I talked with him about his life over the years. Chris grew into a wonderful adult as he was in his youth. He was a humble servant and served his country in the military showing strength and commitment as he had shown with his friends. I was deeply shocked of his passing, but will remember his kindness and thoughtfulness. I extend love and condolences to his mother, Mary, whom I worked with at Forsythe, and also to all his family,kindred,and grieving friends.

The passing of Chris is truly a loose for the world. He was an honest a true friend who will be deeply missed!

Mary and Allison, I am so sorry to hear about Chris. The news was such a shock. I was thinking about how much fun we had as kids. One time I remember the grown ups were playing games downstairs at our house in Ypsi, and Chris and I were playing hide and seek. We were maybe 10 years old. I had a good hiding spot behind some curtains and Chris couldn't find me. He looked all over the room and then finally stopped right in the middle and said "well now I'm really ticked." The way he said it was just so funny! I started laughing and gave away my hiding spot. When he saw me shaking the curtain but trying to stay quiet he started laughing too. It was so silly but we laughed so hard I never forgot it. We had a lot of fun, just playing or riding bikes or making Letterman-inspired videos. I feel lucky to have known him, and had such a great playmate. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathies to Mary and her family. Chris was a student of mine at Wines Elementary. I cherish the opportunity I had to be his teacher and to know Mary as a parent, friend, and fellow colleague. Chris will be missed by many who love him.

Worked with Mary for years at forsythe. She was such an amazing person with staff and students. So sorry for the loss of her son. My prayers are with you. I am not far away if you need anything.

Chris I will never forget the laughter that we shared. My favorite thing to do is tell you funny stories and hear that deep laugh. You've meant so much to so many people. I will never forget how you helped me through losing my best friend to cancer just, you saying me encouraging words, and giving me a big bear hug made me feel better. Chris helped at Such A Find and got our clean out crews going.  Always upbeat, always responded, it was clear his interests were wide and kindness unending.  We are so sorry for the families loss, words are not enough.

Very sorry to hear about this.  I have never forgotten Chris, who was my band student in the early '90s and whose mother kept me updated on his life.

You made a lot of people very happy and will be missed greatly.

I want to send our condolences. I knew Chris through his friend Kyle and every time I was around him, he made me feel like his friend and always would have a good sense of humor. Words can't describe the feelings you have but know that he was a great guy. He will be missed. Deepest sympathy.

Chris made me smile. Chris made me giggle like a 10 year old boy. Chris made me think deeply about ideas and gave me new perspective on old ideals. I grew to become extremely fond of Chris, very very quickly. To all who loved him, I'm sorry for our loss. I find peace knowing this man lived, laughed, and loved with a full heart - and that he's with us all now in a place of extreme peace.

We have such wonderful memories of Chris..he was such a sweet child and grew up to become a wonderful man.  Mary and Alison I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss.  Thoughts and prayers go out to you from all of us.

Mary and Alison...I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. There really aren't words. I'll always remember how I posted about these shelter dogs in need on Facebook. And I woke up to an email from one of the shelter volunteers. She said she was in tears because my friend Chris Reilly had sent them $500 to help with the dogs. It was an incredible, generous gift. Based on all lovely things I've been reading about him in the last few days, that's just who he was--kind and generous. Am thinking of you lots and sending you the biggest hugs.

I wish I had the chance to get to know you better. I am so happy I got to meet you at our BBQ over the summer. Thank you for bringing so much joy to someone's life that means so much to me. You will certainly never be forgotten.

The pain I feel after losing such an important part of this new life, is a real testament to how great a person you were. I truly aspire to be as good of a friend and support to everyone i meet. I send my sincerest love to all those who are fortunate enough to have been touched by your spirit.
