

Christopher Matthew Weber August 31,1981 – March 18,2015, of Saline, MI. Christopher, 33, beloved son, brother, cousin and friend, died suddenly at home on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. He was born August 31, 1981 in Arlington Heights, IL and moved to Ann Arbor at age three. He is survived by his loving parents, Robert M. and Catherine Weber of Saline, his brother Robert J. (Saint Clair Shores), and his sister Molly (New York, NY). Chris is also survived by his uncle David Cassidy (Janet), his aunts Cheryl Cassidy, Susan Fitzgerald, Sheila List (Larry), and his Great Aunt Margaret Duby (Lloyd). He was preceded in death by his Aunt Julie Walker (Richard). Chris had many close cousins: Laurie Atwood and her children Jason, Heather, and Smith, Andrea Kopp, Amy Sulhoff (Justin), Katie Cassidy-Ginsberg, Paul and Peter Duby (Cynthia), Terri Spindler, Cameron Greig (Sandra), their children Cameron and Morgan, Patrick and Charles Fitzgerald. While at Saline High School (Class of ’99), Chris played soccer and found his passion in life: music. His talent was reflected in his beautiful singing voice which he refined at Interlochen Center of the Arts and Berklee School of Music, Boston. Chris was particularly impressive when he sang The National Anthem a Capella at a Hornet basketball game and also performed a solo of The Phantom of the Opera’s “The Music of the Night”. He was also active in amateur theatrical productions including The Music Man, Oklahoma, and Hello Dolly, as well as a professional performance in A Christmas Carol with the Purple Rose Theater. After high school he played in several rock bands as guitarist and vocalist, performing at The Club Above (Heidelberg) in Ann Arbor. In recent years, Chris enjoyed the outdoors as an avid bocce ball player. He was a devoted fan of MSU football and basketball. Movies were a passion for Chris in later years which he often enjoyed with his favorite cat Blackie at his side. His Facebook friends will miss his daily posts of “Song of the Day.” Chris’ great fortitude and indomitable spirit carried him through life’s challenges and grounded his gentle heart. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Chris’ life on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 S 4th Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 with visitation from noon to 1:00 pm and Memorial Service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
