

Kushner, David Canfield David passed peacefully at home in Ann Arbor, Michigan on March 30, 2011 due to primary systemic amyloidosis. He was born August 23, 1945 in the Panama Canal Zone to Dorothy Elizabeth (Canfield) Kushner and Lt. Col. Gerson Leo Kushner. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Betty (Van Cise) Kushner, son, Jeremy Christopher Kushner, and David's sisters, Marcia Lee (Kushner) Cohl and Judith (Kushner) Wood. David graduated from Wayne State University (AB/Psychology) and received a teaching degree from Eastern Michigan University. He served in the Air Force in Thailand during the Vietnam War. His career at the U-M Institute for Social Research spanned 37 years. An accomplished photographer and private pilot, David also enjoyed our cats, Cedar and Guido, reading, motorcycles, music and ham radios.
