Eileen Katherine Hagopian

Eileen was one of thirteen children: Lawrence {Emily} Scheid, Raymond {Lenore} Scheid, James {Dorthy} Scheid, Lenard {Mary} Scheid, Francis {Ray} Andres, Bernice {Fred} Hegeman, Gerald {Carrol} Scheid, Ronald {Judy} Scheid, Allen {Virginia} Scheid, Rose Gawne, and one surviving brother Robert {Mabel} Scheid.

Eileen was married to Gordon Hagopian in August of 1949. Once they settled in Ann Arbor, Eileen went to work at the phone company and began raising her family. She later made a career for herself at the University of Michigan, continuing her work there for 25 years. Gordon preceded her in death on December 8, 1985. Eileen had one son Michael {Regina} Hagopian of Lake Somerset, Michigan, two grandsons Dusty and Gordon Hagopian, and many nieces and nephews. Eileen loved working in her garden, spending time with her family and watching Tiger baseball. A special thank you to Heartland Hospice for all their loving care.

Visitation Monday, October 20th, 2014, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at Muehlig Funeral Chapel and service on Tuesday, October 21st, 2014 at 10 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Memorial contributions can be made in Eileen's name to the American Cancer Society or Heartland Hospice.
