Gregory Michael Koepp was born in Ann Arbor, MI on September 5, 1967 to William and Beverly Koepp. He graduated from Lincoln High School. He took up residence in Ann Arbor and started a career in real estate where he became an associate broker. Following his real estate career, he started Gridiron Properties, Inc. to own and manage rental properties. While continuing to run Gridiron, he joined A. F. Smith Electric, Inc. as their Operations Manager. He was active in the Ann Arbor Board of Realtors and the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti Area Chambers of Commerce. He donated many hours to coaching and assisting in the Ann Arbor Junior Football and Baseball programs.
Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents Orville and Muriel Koepp and Willard Murrell, and by his mother, Beverly Sikorski.
He is survived by his grandmother, Imagean Murrell of FL; his father William and stepmother Emily Koepp of TN; two brothers Jeff Koepp of Pinckney and Brian Koepp of Ypsilanti; four step sisters Debbie Brodie (Kyle) of Saline and Sandra Conlee (Chris) of S.C.; Santine Anderson of Ann Arbor and Shauna Sikorski of NJ; two uncles Don Koepp of Ypsilanti and Don Murrell (Paula) of Chelsea; a nephew Bill Koepp of Pinckney, a niece Ashley Koepp of Ann Arbor; and two children Ryland (age 11) and Presley (age 7) along with their mother, Leigh Ann and her daughter Kelsea.
A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor on Saturday, March 19th. Visitation begins at noon followed by a 1:30 p.m. service. Family and guests are invited to share a light lunch with the family at the church following the service
