John was born on March 13th, 1949 in Battle Creek, MI to Albert and Louellis. He graduated from University of Michigan with a degree in journalism. John worked for Harper Collins Publishing as a Project Manager. He is survived by his wife, Keely, and three children, Peter, Joanna and Sophie and grandchild, Olivia. John was an accomplished musician. He was a member of several local bands. He was a charismatic man who loved his family and was passionate about music. A memorial service is will take place on Saturday, September 19th, 2015 at 4:00pm at St. Clare’s Episcopal Church, the Rev. James Rhodenhiser presiding, with a reception immediately following the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate John's life.
