Kristine was born on August 25, 1950 in Canton, Ohio to Charles & Alma Moore. She graduated from Alliance High in 1968, where she met Eric. They married the following year and moved to Evanston IL where Eric attended college. While in Evanston, Kristine worked in publicity at Rotary International.
After Eric’s graduation and moving to Ann Arbor, Kristine began working as an editor for the Great Lakes Basin Commission and then the Historical Society of Michigan. She eventually became self-employed after co-founding two successful businesses where she conducted publication design seminars for editors throughout the country. On the side, she had a passion for interior design and antiques and was an avid New York Times reader. She seemed to always keep a cheery attitude, and anyone that has met her knows she could chat for hours on end with anyone.
The couple had three children, all born in Ann Arbor, two born at home. As her seminar business grew, her children remember Kristine as always making sure she only scheduled seminars when public school was in session so she could spend time with the children during the summers and breaks (and Halloween trick-or-treating!).
Kristine is survived by her spouse Eric; her children Mark, Scott (Kristin), Jessica (Charles) Gray; and her five grandchildren. Kristine was fortunate that everyone lived nearby in Ann Arbor and could visit often.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.muehligannarbor.comfor the Meves family.
