Peggy was born on September 26, 1961, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Dennis J. and Clair Mary (Rozelle) Fernly. She attended school in Ann Arbor and graduated from Pioneer High School. Peggy worked for 18 years at Kroger, where she stocked shelves and worked in the health and beauty department. She later continued her working career at Meijer.
Peggy was a collector at heart, gathering just about everything that caught her interest. She especially enjoyed cutting letters from printed materials and laminating them, a pastime that reflected her creativity and attention to detail. Over the years, Peggy traveled with her parents to Florida, California, and New England.
Peggy is survived by her mother, Clair Mary Fernly; her brother, Michael (Rene) Fernly; and her nieces, Margaret and Jessica.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Fernly, and her sister, Beth Fernly.
A gathering of friends will be held at a later date.
