Mary Loretta Flynn Weg

Mary Loretta Flynn Weg died peacefully on August 20, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was the proud mother of six daughters Diane W Farquhar (Vincent Butkiewicz and children Laura, Kathryn, Jamie); Kathryn W Brandt (Jimmy Brandt and children Lindsay, Jenny, David and her first great granddaughter Avery), Carol A. Weg, Loretta W Ryan (children Mary Loretta and Molly), Veronica W Downer (John Downer and children John and Melissa) Michelle W Fingerle (children Joe and Brian). Mary is delighted to be in Heaven with Jack Weg, Lenny Weg, Theresa Weg, Lenny Weg, Jr, Doug Farquhar and JoAnne Ryan. Mary adored her 12 grandchildren and her beautiful great grandchild and they worshiped her. She loved her sisters Winnie Bozzomo (Bob Bozzomo) and Veronica Joyce and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary graduated from Dominican Commercial High School Jamaica Queens New York in 1952. She worked at AT&T as an Executive Administrator for several years, supporting her family while her beloved husband, Jack Weg, completed medical school. Mary’s greatest achievement was her perfect marriage to Jack and her family. Mary’s devotion to others was shown with her charity work. She was an avid reader and an excellent writer. She will be deeply missed. The family will receive friends on Wednesday August 23 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00 at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel, Ann Arbor. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday August 24th at 2:00 pm with visitation from 1:00 until the mass at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Ann Arbor. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mary’s name to Catholic Social Services 4925 Packard St, Ann Arbor, MI 48108 or to a charity of your choice.
