I had the privilege of being Muray's friend and she made a difference in my life in a very positive way. She was a wise human being always willing to listen. Muray left us, her friends, with a lonely feeling of hope for a better life. We all learned a great deal from Muray.

Muray made working at the UofM Law School, a better and unforgettable place to devote the best of our professional time and energy.

I share my solidarity with her family and friends. I will be thinking of her when I go for my walks in California. I already miss her.

All of us who knew Muray are so privileged to have felt her empathy, kindness and her unique insight into the world.  Muray's respect and deep compassion for other human beings was fused into her core.  The light Muray shared will gleam in many hearts; we know this of ours.  Her selfless actions and the generosity of her soul would often help people around her overcome rock-solid obstacles in life.  We've witnessed this ourselves and will miss her with deep sadness, yet hopeful that people like Muray make our world a better place.  Her grace touched us all, the ultimate legacy of a wonderful human being, Muray Bridges Taylor.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to Muray's family and friends  

Muray hired me at the law school and for that I am truly grateful.  She helped guide and mentor me during my first few years at the school.  Her calm demeanor helped me to understand how to best approach difficult and challenging situations. 

I'm sorry I hadn't seen her since she retired, but I often thought about how she must be enjoying her much adored grand daughters. I can still see her smiling face when talking about them to me.  My her memory live on through them and others.

I am so sorry I'll miss the service due to out-of-state travel.  I'll forever be grateful to Muray for modeling how to be a consummate professional boss with a gentle and human touch.  She was a sensitive and caring leader, attuned to the aspirations, desires, and pains of those around her, and she treated people with great sensitivity and respect.  For many years she was the heart and soul of the school.  She will be missed by the institution and by the people within it.

I had the pleasure of working with Muray at the University of Michigan Law School. She was a delightful and hard working colleague. I will always be thankful that she thought enough of me to give me a job in the Law School Records office. It was my favorite job!

We have known Muray for 30+ years.  Living in California,  gave us limited time together.  However, whenever we visited Detroit or when Muray & Fred came to California, we always had many laughs together.  She had an infectious laugh and was a fun loving & warm person to be around.  We will miss her very much.

Muray Taylor was one of the kindest human beings I've ever met.  For 15 years I cleaned the gutters on her home, and not once did she not mention her sincere concern for my well being, and not once did she not add to the bill with a generous tip.  I'll miss our yearly reunions and offer my sincerest condolences to her family and all who knew this unique, kind hearted soul.

For many years, Muray was an institution at the Law School  a steady, kindly, intelligent, capable, mature, and wry presence  and for two years she was a pleasant and engaging next-door neighbor for Joanna and me.  I was glad to spend sometime with her just a few weeks ago, and she was in her usual form.  Her untimely death is terribly sad.  Our condolences to all her loved ones.

Muray always had the monopoly on the "human" part of Human Resources.  The consummate professional, but a kindly soul and deft touch with hearts.  Prayers for all who knew her and condolences for close friends and family.

My heart is full of so many wonderful memories of my former MLaw colleague Muray. Thank you for your bright smile, sense of humor, and wisdom. My condolences to your family and friends.

Gone but not forgotten and no longer in pain. I always enjoyed talking with Muray when she worked at the Law School. May your family find comfort knowing that you are now resting in peace. Your family will be kept in my prayers.
