Olive Louise Stagner

Olive Louise (née Marshall) Stagner, born March 11, 1919, in Huntington, Indiana passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Chelsea Retirement Center. She was the daughter of William John and Goldie Mae (née Baughman) Marshall. Mom was a woman of great strength, determination, knowledge, and years. She was married to Richard Martin Stagner July 28, 1937, and he preceded her in death on September 29, 2003. Together they raised two children, Daniel Eugene Stagner (deceased), and Dianne Stagner Dahl. Loving grandmother of four, great grandmother of eleven. She is survived by her daughter Dianne (Ray) Dahl, daughter-in-law Karen Stagner, many nieces, nephews, granddaughters Lisa (Dave) Joyce, Lori (Dave) VanAcker, Christy (Dave) Smith, Shelley Dunkel Kasper and their families, one brother, Herbert M. McCullough. Mrs.Stagner was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was quite active. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1400 W. Stadium Blvd., Ann Arbor, Michigan with the family receiving guests from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
