Patricia Anne Mitcham

Ann Arbor, Michigan

Pat passed away on June 16, 2012. She was born on April 17, 1933 to Walter and Adeline (Graf) Craig in Macon, Michigan. During her working years, she was employed at Hoover NSK. She is survived by her husband Elbert, children; Craig Fox, Brett Fox, Lynnette (Wes) Gerecke, Lisa (Dan) Fox-Del Zoppo, stepchildren; Robert (Nancy) Mitcham, Diana (Jeff) Mitcham, Kimberly (Tim) Ball, grandchildren; Cyrinda, Jenna, Alyssa, Lyndsie, step-grandchildren; Laurie (Barrett), Amy (Nick), great-grandchildren; Devone, Jaleyna, and Mekai. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters; Jeannine and Marlene, and infant daughter Darcy Adele. A memorial service is planned for Monday June 25, 2012 @ Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 S. Fourth Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48104. Family and friends visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 am, followed by the memorial service @ 11:00 am.

Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She possessed a quiet strength and a strong will. She was known for her home cooking and baking. She always showed unconditional love, and never failed to acknowledge a birthday with a card and a favorite birthday cake or pie. Holidays were always a great gathering of family and good food.

She was a lover of all animals, especially her grandpets. She had a green thumb and was always surrounded by flowers and plants.

She loved to travel, and had visited China, Japan, Korea and Spain, as well as traveling extensively throughout this country. Hawaii and the cottage at Houghton Lake were her favorite places to be.

She loved to shop, always finding that special gift for her loved ones, and looked forward to the Ann Arbor Art Fair every year. She loved to read and always had a good book close by. She enjoyed her monthly luncheons with the “girls” from Hoover, laughing and sharing stories with each other. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her extended family and all of her friends.
