

Kleinschmidt, Paul R. of Dexter, Michigan passed away July 25, 2013 with his family by his side; he was 89 years of age. Paul was born November 28, 1923 on the family farm in Webster, Twp. Paul was active in his community all of his life. He was a member of Webster United Church of Christ, Webster Twp. Historical Society, Farm Bureau, and was on the Webster Twp. Board for over 34 years.
He is survived by his five children; Emma Lee (Gerald) Ellison, Robert (Cheryl) Kleinschmidt, Richard (friend, Martha Zeeb), Sandy (William) Drake and Anne (Gary) Lask; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Paul loved animals not only those he raised on his farm but those that he cared for and raised as his pets.
Paul wrote and published a memoire of his life growing up on his family farm; a history that can still be read today. He had a strong work ethic and devotion to his family, church and community. As well as farming 500 acres Paul was an accomplished craftsmen and artist in wood machinery, creating scale models of Boynton School, a log cabin in which his dad grew up in, an entire collection of horse drawn farm equipment, and Noah’s Ark with the accompanying pieces, all of which will be on display and open to those desiring after the funeral service at the Webster Twp. Historical Society Country Store and Society Grounds.
He was preceded in death by his first wife; Marion (Gerry) and his second wife Elizabeth. Paul will be remembered for his love of family, devotion to his God and church and his slow easy smile.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Hosmer-Muehlig Funeral Chapel of Dexter, MI. A funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Webster Church of Christ, Dexter, MI with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. His final resting place will be at the Webster Church Cemetery. Donations may be offered to the; Webster Church of Christ or the Webster Twp. Historical Society.
