Robert Gordon Hills (Rob), aged 68, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away Wednesday January 31, 2024. Rob was born on July 4, 1955, in Lansing, Michigan, and spent his early years on the family farm in Howell and later in the Village of Fowlerville before moving to Ann Arbor in 1965, where he graduated from Huron High School in 1973.
He worked in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area, primarily in the food service industry and maintained a side job providing logistics services to local bands with gigs in the southeastern area of Michigan. Motorcycling and photography were his primary hobbies and pastimes.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Hills Jr., and mother, Virginia C. (Tomion) Hills, both of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is survived by his brother, David C. Hills, of Madison, Wisconsin.
Services to honor Rob’s life will be held at the First United Methodist Church at 120 S State St, Ann Arbor, Michigan at 2 PM, May 18, 2024.
