

Timothy John Sedmak passed away February 20, 2015. He was born in Detroit, Michigan May 21, 1948, to Marie (Edwards) and the late Henry Sedmak. He was a loving son and brother to his parents and four siblings, Michael P. Sedmak (Maryanne), Ann Edwards (Mark), Sally Perry (Ric), and Mark Sedmak (Theresa). He was the son-in-law to Raymond M. and the late Marilyn Verbeke, and brother-in-law to Michael and Cecilia Mannino and Raymond M. Verbeke. He was the loving husband of Claudia Sedmak (Verbeke) and devoted father to Erin and Henry Sedmak. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1969 with a Bachelor's Degree in political science. He was the Vice President of the B&B Pool Company, Livonia, Michigan. Tim and his partner, John Juntunen, acquired the business in 1977, and grew the company from a small backyard service operation to the largest commercial swimming-pool building company in Michigan. Tim was a scuba-diver and underwater photographer, and traveled all over the world to take photographs of animal and plant marine life. He enjoyed skiing, biking, boating, and walking on the beaches of Florida. He was a natural athlete and comedian. He endured much during his illness and faced it with incredible courage and bravery. He never allowed his illness to prevent him from participating fully in his life. His family and friends will never forget his sense of humor, pranks, and infectious laugh. A memorial service will be held at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel of Ann Arbor on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with a Memorial gathering on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
