

Alice (born on July 25, 1925), wife of Dr. Richard E. Hunter who predeceased her in 1986; lived in Vestal and Endicott, NY until 1988 when she moved to Annapolis, MD. She was an active member of Kiwanis Club (being past Secretary); a docent at the historic William Paca House in Annapolis; a percussionist in the Bay Winds Band (a 50-piece Annapolis community band) playing bass drum, snare drum and triangle; sponsored numerous Naval Academy midshipmen (and women) and an alto in the First Presbyterian Church choir. When she did have free time, she was an avid Bridge player, enjoyed puzzles and loved her cats. “I’ve always had a lot of fun in my life,” she said. “I feel I get so much more back than I give.”
Alice was born and brought up in Endicott, NY; graduated from Syracuse University and taught Physical Education for a short while in Philadelphia, PA. She is survived by three sons; a niece Linda Larnerd of Paradise Valley, Arizona. Her daughter Sharon L. died in 1975. Son David C. and grandsons Tommy, Brian, and great-granddaughter Caliya live in California. Son Gary D. lives in Palm Springs, California. Son Kevin C. lives in Hilton Head Island, SC
Funeral Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Annapolis on Friday, April 7 at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of her daughter, Sharon; donations can be given to the American Cancer Society.
