It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn Dixson. She was a beautiful person: a special education teacher, a quilter, a gourmet cook and a good friend to all who knew her. Above all she was a wonderful mother and wife. She was the center of our universe.
She impacted so many young lives in need of help and set them on their way. She was an accomplished quilter creating many lovely quilts for charity, friends and family. As a cook she was always experimenting with various recipes for her family and friends. She read cookbooks as if they were novels.
She was everything one would want in a wife and mother. She raised two terrific children who went on to pursue their goals and become good people.
She spent her later life becoming a mentor and teacher to her grandchildren as GRAMMIE.
She will be missed but will remain a part of our daily lives.
