Elsie Lucille Oliver

Elsie “Lucille” Oliver passed away on Saturday January 2, 2016. Lucille was a native Annapolitan with family roots dating from the 1800s. Lucille is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Robert Earl Oliver Sr., preceded in death by her parents Elsie and George “Oakie” Clark and her siblings Roy, Donald, and Catherine. Lucille is survived by her four children Debbie, Robbie, Kelly (Dottie), Tracy (Wendy). Lucille is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Robert, Ashley, Michael, Amanda, Caitlyn and Olivia. And 5 great grandchildren Aidan, Sophia, William, John Michael and Hannah. Lucille worked as an office manager at Manresa-on-Severn. Her door was always open to anyone with her loving smile and her generosity. Lucille enjoyed canning tomatoes and sweet relish, and was known for her secret recipes for potato salad, cole slaw and apple dumplings. She crocheted hundreds of afghans for all her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and family vacations to Disney World and Ocean City, MD. Visitation will be 2p-4p and 6p-8p on Wednesday January 6 at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home 147 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis, MD 21401. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am on Thursday January 7, 2016 at St John Neumann Catholic Church 620 N. Bestgate Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
