Ida-Ann V. Sears Dunagan, 93, a resident of Edgewater, passed away May 30. Born October 10, 1932 in Annapolis to the late John Clifton Sears and Nettie-May Sears. She was the oldest of two children, sister to the late Leah-May Sears Taylor. She graduated from Annapolis High School in 1950 and married James W. Dunagan on July 2, 1964.
She worked at Metropolitan Life from 1950 to 1974. She also worked for the 1980 Census. Afterwards, she began 37 years of RVing and travelling the United States and holding many positions with the Avion Travelcade Club, including secretary to the President of the Avion Travelcade Club. She was very proud that she had travelled and stayed in all 50 states. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband James W. Dunagan of 61 years, relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21401, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 11 am to 12 noon.
