John G. Hayes, 82, of Severna Park, MD. passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 . Born on July 9,1939 in Bronx, New York, he was the son of Della and Louis Hayes (both deceased). He graduated from Saint Mary's Catholic High School, where he later was an assistant football coach. He worked at Nationwide Insurance Company. He loved football and many other sports. He also enjoyed traveling and going to the beach. He was married to his loving wife, Ann, (deceased) for fifty six years. He is survived by his twin brother, Bill Hayes, of Annapolis MD., one nephew, Stephen Hayes and his wife Kathy, also of
Annapolis MD, one great nephew, Luke and one great niece, Lily. Four nieces, Dawn, Kaye, Karen and Diane and their spouses. Brother In Law, Joseph G. Zindorf and wife, Karen, of Arnold, MD. and Sister In Law, Jean Hott and husband Mike, also of Arnold, MD. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 4, 2021 , from 1 1 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a service at 12:00 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of
Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 191 1 Forest Drive, Annapolis, MD immediately following the service.
