Kevin Karl Gersonde

It is with great sorrow that we mourn the loss of Kevin K. Gersonde. Kevin was born in Saint Joseph, Michigan on December 16, 1962. He passed away in early October at the age of 59 in Annapolis, Maryland.

Kevin graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1980 and from Michigan State University in 1985 with a Degree in Business Administration. He was also a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and a lettered athlete in tennis.

Kevin began his career with Chart House Restaurants working at multiple locations in Southern California. He was quickly promoted to General Manager in their location in Hilton Head, South Carolina and later to Annapolis, Maryland. He continued with Chart House Restaurants until stepping down after 25 years. After a brief stint in Baltimore, he was asked to open Yellowfin Steak and Fish House in Annapolis, to great success over a 16-year period.

His memory is left to be cherished by his son, Ian Gersonde of Chicago, Illinois, his former wife, Meg Corder of Annapolis, Maryland; his siblings Eric (Becky) of Birmingham, Michigan; Kristen (AJ Schulz) of Sarasota, Florida; Jon (Lynn) of Kauai, Hawaii; Heidi (Bill Sodetz) of Dillon, Colorado; and Peter (Teri) of Saint Joseph, Michigan; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marilyn Gersonde, and his brother Kurt.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date in Annapolis, Maryland and Saint Joseph, Michigan.
