Mary Bronson, 85, of Annapolis, MD. died on the morning of August 19, 2024. She was born on Christmas Eve in 1938 to Theresa Joan (Sughrue) and Frederick Clare Bronson in Clearfield, PA. She graduated from St. Francis High School (class of 1957) in Clearfield, settling in Annapolis in 1966.
She was preceded in death by all seven of her siblings and her son Matthew John Claxton. She is survived by her sons George Anthony Claxton and Andrew John Claxton, her daughter, Theresa Joan (Claxton) Duffy, daughters-in-law Kari Claxton and Bridget Claxton, son-in-law Kevin Duffy, thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren with the third arriving soon, and many beloved friends and neighbors.
A memorial service and celebration of Mary’s life is planned for October with details to follow.
