The sun has set for Richard A. “Rick” Nadolny, a true Chesapeake Sportsman. In the summer he was a fisherman and, in the fall, and winter a feared goose hunter; an in between he was a sporting clay shooter up and down the East Coast. Rick was also water taxi captain in Annapolis. His time spent at home he would sit on his patio smoking a stogie and drinking a martini watching the eagles and other wildlife play on the creek by his house. Now on the patio he will join his late wife Debbie enjoying the view as she sips her red wine.
Also greeting him is his father Richard “Skip” and his mother Sara along with his grandparents Frank and Nora Nadolny and Albert and May Gumbert. He is survived by his two brothers, Thomas (Wendy) and Ronald (Sharon). He was also an uncle to 4 children and great uncle to 8. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Goodbye Rick
The family will receive friends on Saturday January 24, 2026, from 11 am - 12:45 pm at John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD 21401. A celebration of life will begin at 1 pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Rick’s name can be directed to the American Cancer Society.
