I was greatly saddened to learn of Tom's passing. He and I were HS classmates back in Uniontown, Pa., and shared many good times in the band. The trips and football & basketball games are among my fondest HS memories. He was taken from us much too soon.

Tom and Margaret were a delightful couple that will be dearly missed by all that knew them. At First Baptist Ft. Oglethorpe his talent meant so much in our services and I have such good memories of being in the first church band that church had in many years, that tradition is still going. Hannah and Paul and the grandchildren will be in our prayers.

Dr. Tom was my minister of music and youth at Ft. Oglethorpe First Baptist.  He played such a big part of molding my spiritual life as a young person.  He really loved and cared for each member of his youth group and we all loved him dearly even though he was a stickler with the volleyball rules (ha ha).  I even had the opportunity to babysit Hannah and Paul which they probably do not remember.  I enjoyed viewing all the pictures of their beautiful families.  We will miss you Dr. Tom!  See you in heaven.

Dr. Tom was a wonderful mentor, confidante and youth and music leader.  He challenged me in my spiritual and musical growth for Christ. I fondly remember our flute/recorder duets at Fort Oglethorpe First Baptist, Georgia. And also the funny times, like teaching him and Margaret about some southern expressions like the "eye" of the stove (they called it a burner). Please accept my sincere condolences, knowing your dad was loved and respected by many.

Bay Winds Band extends its sympathy to the family on the passing of one of its former Directors.  His service to the band was greatly appreciated.

Dr Tom was my Youth and Music Minister at Ft Oglethorpe First Baptist. His influence and compassion for those he ministered to (Dr Tom was very instrumental in my spiritual development) will always be treasured.  His passion and giving heart will live on in the many lives he has touched.  Such a profound loss.

My deepest condolences to Tom's family and friends.  I went to jr & sr. high school in Uniontown, PA with Tom; we were in the band together, and he was my first real date for a school dance.  I haven't seen him for many years, but have such fond memories of him.  I stumbled across the sad news on the Internet.  Those of us from his early years will mourn his passing greatly. Blessings to his family.

Tom was an amazing person.  I can always remember him having a smile on his face an a great sense of humor.  I have been very blessed to have him a part of my life.  While I'm sad for Hanna & Paul, I know he is in a much better place now with Margaret and with no more pain.

I first met Tom in Morgantown, WV when he was serving as music minister at Calvary Baptist Church.  He was very giving with his time and talents and deep caring for all people.  I have been blessed by those memories even through today.  Alison Herring (Sarsam)

It was a joy to teach with Tom at the Phoenix Center and see success with our very special students. He brought the joy of music to so many and for some of his students, it was a life changing experience. We enjoyed collaborating by bringing his music and my history lessons to life. Bless you, Tom, as you continue to create lovely tunes in heaven!

I will always be greatful for the positive effect that Dr. Tom had on my children.  He was instrumental in showing us all what true worship is about.  Please accept my condolences, knowing that your dad's life made a positive difference in this world.

Tom and Margaret were so special. I really enjoyed knowing them. I remember going to the hospital to see baby Hannah just after she was born. I had them in my home for meals and have pictures of them and of Tom playing my piano. He lined up all our VBS attendees and took their picture and had certificates printed with the picture and VBS information. After he left our church, I began doing the same thing having the people line up on the hillside exactly the way he had. His first year as our youth minister, I went to Youth Camp as a counselor. I was so favorable impressed with all that he did. He and Margaret will always have a special place in my heart. My heartfelt condolences to the children and grandchildren and others who loved him.

When Tom came to the First Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe,  I was confident that he would be a great minister of music, but I had no idea what a positive impact he would have as our minister to youth.  Tom's skill, humor, and honesty blessed us all.  I learned more about worship from Tom Mosser than anyone I have known.  Hannah and Paul, your Dad was a true gift from God.  Our prayers are with you.

What a joy to work with Tom at the Phoenix Center! I always appreciated his sense of humor and the intense conversations about religion. He was a great man to challenge and stretch our thinking! I pray that his family always remembers his laughter...
