
Graveside services for Fred Kemp, 73, of Anniston, will be 2 pm Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Temple Beth El portion of Hillside Cemetery with Rabbi Irving Bloom officiating. Mr. Kemp died Friday, February 24, 2012 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Madalyn Tonkel Kemp of Anniston, two daughters, Michelle Kemp-Nordell (David) of Kfar Ya’avetz, Israel and Candice Kemp Mudd (Eric) of Roswell, GA, two grandchildren, Ethan and Lily Mudd, sister, Jeanne Kemp Ginsberg of Fort Worth, TX, brother, Donald Kemp of Anniston.
Mr. Kemp is preceded in death by his son Jonathan Eric Kemp and parents, Rudy and Greta Kemp.
Mr. Kemp was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston. Mr. Kemp was president of Tape Craft, Inc., and subsequently co-owner of Kemp’s Officenter. He was board member of the Public Library Anniston-Calhoun County, board member of the Knox Concert, member of the Rosen Charitable Foundation and the Dorothy Stern Charitable Foundation. Mr. Kemp was president of Temple Beth El and a member of Bnai Brith. He was a graduate of Cornell University.
