Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. The family will receive friends on
Monday, April 24, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Threatt was born to the late Mattie Finley and Harrison Curry on September 29, 1950. She
became a member of First Baptist Riverside church at an early age. Mrs. Threatt married
the late Jimmy Threatt on Jan. 14, 1967.
She leaves to cherish her memories her six children, Tonya Threatt, Denise (Alonzo) Joiner,
of Anniston, Stephen Curry of Birmingham, Angela (Fredrick) Orr Sr., of Gadsden, Johnny Curry
and Shanta Curry, both of Anniston; two brothers, Bennie Curry (Shirley), of Talladega and Micheal Curry
of Riverside; eighteen grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to LaTrenda Wills for the care she gave to their mom.
Mrs. Threatt is preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa Curry, and granddaughter, Aniah Bonner.
Mrs. Threatt was a loved lady by many and will surely be missed.
