Artie Jane Brown Paulk

Mrs. Paulk passed away on Wednesday at Riverview RMC of Gadsden.

Survivors include her son, Robert “Joe” Paulk (Lisa Wesson Paulk); grandchild, Anna Culberson; great-grandchildren, Riley Ann Higdon and Emma Grace Wilkes; brother, Joseph Benjamin “J.B” Brown (Debbie); sister, Cleoria Roberts; niece, Joann Darnell (Scott); nephews, Tom Roberts, Bill Roberts (Diane), Wendell Roberts (Joyce), David Brown, Dewayne Brown; great-nieces and –nephews, Tammy Roberts, Nikki Roberts Webb, Joshua Roberts, Jeremy Roberts, Jennifer Roberts, Dustin Roberts, Christie Darnell and Blake Darnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Brown and Zera Fay Brown; sister, Linnie Brown; and ex-husband, Kenneth Paulk.

Pallbearers will be Tom Roberts, Bill Roberts, Wendell Roberts, David Brown, Dewayne Brown, and Axel Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Roberts, Jeremy Roberts, and Dustin Teske.

Mrs. Paulk was a retired hairdresser of more than 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved gardening and reading in her spare time. She was a second mom to all of Joe's friends and was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
