Barbara Mae Humphries

Anniston - Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Mae Humphries, 80 of Anniston will be Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Tucker and Rev. Larry Johnson officiating with burial following at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Humphries passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 at RMC in Anniston.

Mrs. Humphries is survived by her husband Floyd Humphries; daughter, Janet Humphries (William) Klarman; sons, Gerald (Janice) Humphries, Darrell (Linda) Humphries, and Brian (Jackie) Humphries; brother, Johnny Denney; grandchildren, Gerald Humphries, Rebecca Hill, Jennifer Pembrook, Amy Poore, Timothy Humphries, Christopher Humphries, Jennifer Karasevich, Darrell Humphries Jr., Matthew Humphries, Tiffany Spradlin, Jessica Ruger, and Justin Ruger; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Humphries was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Mae Denney.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Mrs. Humphries was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of New Cannan Baptist Church where she played piano for many years and a member of the New Cannan Quartet. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
