On Thursday, January 21, 2021, Becky Pitts Williams passed away at her home in Jacksonville, Alabama, at age 45. Visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home from 12:30-2:30, with a memorial service shortly to follow. Pastor Dennis Smith will be officiating.
Becky was born September 24, 1975, in Anniston, Alabama. She attended and later graduated from Ohatchee High School in 1993; and furthered her education by earning a degree in computer programming from Ayers Technical College. She later married her husband of 23 years, Benjamin Williams in 1997. Becky was a part of the ANCDF project in Anniston, Alabama until completion, working for General Physics and was recently employed at Young, Wollstein, Jackson & Whittington, LLC. Becky enjoyed attending Alabama football games, going to Dauphin Island and loved spending time with her friends and family. She was a caring, supportive and loving wife, mother, sister and friend.
Becky was preceded in death by her father, Gregory Pitts, mother, Paula Pitts, grandfather, Bobby Nunnally, grandparents, Paul and Margie Pitts, mother-in-law, Peggy Williams and grandmother-in-law, Janie House.
Loved ones that will dearly miss Becky include her husband, Ben Williams, son, Cauy Williams, brother, Jeromy Pitts (Carol), sisters, Christy Stewart (Thad) and Jessica Pitts (Matt), grandmother, Martha Nunnally, uncle, Dwight Nunnally, aunt, Sherry Henderson (Ricky), uncle, Gary Pitts (Nancy), father-in-law, David Williams, brother-in-law, David Williams II (Kelly), sister-in-law, Monica Stinnett (Chad) and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to the Alabama Kidney Foundation at 265 Riverchase Parkway East, Suite 106, Hoover, AL, 35244. The family also asks that you consider becoming an organ donor.
The state mandate for Alabama requires masks to be worn and requires social distancing.
