Betty Jo Strange Rozier

Funeral Services for Betty Jo Strange Rozier, 79, of Anniston will be 12:00 pm, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Church on the Rock in Anniston with Dr. Randy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Rozier passed away Sunday at her residence.

Survivors include her daughter, Lola Darlene Johnson and fiancé Rick Gillies; son, William Houston Rozier and wife Sheila; grandson, John Bart Waddell; great grandson, Dylan Waddell; sisters, Linda Compton and Helen Hartline; brother, Winfred Strange, and Robert Strange and wife Carol; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Rozier is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William Earl Rozier Jr.; parents, Houston Berry and Selma Lola Gilbert Strange; sisters, Francis Ellen Cash; brothers, John L. Strange and Damon Strange.

Mrs. Rozier was formerly employed by Anniston Sportswear and a member of Church on the Rock for many years. She loved her family, her church and most of all her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That love continues in her family and she will be greatly missed.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Angel Fund at Church on the Rock. This is a bereavement fund that Betty Rozier and Bea White stated at the church.
