Billy Gene Storey Sr.

A memorial service for Billy G. Storey, 83, of Alexandria will be 11:00 am, Monday, February 2, 2015 at Wellington First Baptist with Pastor Tommy Miller officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Storey died January 30, 2015 at Gadsden RMC.

Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Mary M. Storey; daughters, Teresa Storey Brodeur (Rod) and Kathy Storey Williams; grandchildren, Blake Brodeur (Shelby), Jillian Brodeur and Kala Williams; brother, Howard Storey (June); sisters, Sue Burns, Jane Whitman; sister-in-law, Barbara Storey; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Storey is preceded in death by his parents, Madoline Sexton Storey and Charles (Chuck) Storey; and his siblings, Arthur Storey, Don Storey, Joann Lockheart and Mary Beth Seidler.

Mr. Storey was a graduate of Anniston High School and served in the US Army. He was retired from AT & T and was a member of Wellington First Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge 208 in Alexandria, Dixie Shrine Club in Pell City, Zamora Temple in Birmingham and the Trailblazers in Birmingham.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wellington First Baptist Church, 826 Wellington Rd, Wellington, AL 36279 or Shrine Children’s Hospital.
