Anniston – Funeral services for Mr. Bruce Lamar Harper, 55, of Anniston will be Monday, October 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip King officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Harper passed on October 9, 2015 at his home in Anniston.
Mr. Harper is survived by his mother, Joyce King Harper; sisters, Keelia Hodge, and Ketha Harper; nieces, Stephanie Hodge, and Bethany Harper; great-niece, Sophie Harper.
Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Edward Harper.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Jenkins, Jeff Barker, Anthony Barker, Bryan Reaves, Dougie King, and David King. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Goble, and Herbert Willingham.
Mr. Harper was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church; he attended Saks High School and Ayers Community College. Mr. Harper was a huge Alabama Football Fan and loved NASCAR.
