ANNISTON – Funeral service for Mrs. Carolyn Brown, Kirk, McGee, Robinett age 76, will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Burns and Thelma Collier officiating. Interment will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6 -8 p.m., this evening at the funeral home

Mrs. Robinett passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011 at her residence.

Mrs. Robinett is survived by her daughter, Teresa Kirk(Mark) Hayes; sons, Joseph Ormond Kirk Sr., Curtis Lee Kirk, Kenneth Paul(Keitha) Kirk Sr., Brian Alan(Jamie) Kirk Sr., Patrick Adam(Lisa) Kirk I; brother, Charles W.(Willine) Brown; 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Kirk, Danny Kirk, David Kirk, Kenneth Paul Kirk Jr., Josh Kirk and Wesley Brown; honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters and grandsons.

Mrs. Robinett dedicated many years of service to her country through her service as an officer in the American Legion. She was affectionally known as the “Flag Lady”.

She was Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Katie Brown; brother Joe T. Brown Jr.; twin brother, Clifford Brown and granddaughter Stephan Kirk
