Funeral service for Crandall "Coy" Gravitt, 61 of Pleasant Valley, will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Genesis Worship Center with Pastor Jason Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-8 pm and Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Survivors including his wife, Melinda Gravitt; daughters, Carrie Cardinal (Michael) Jennifer McCaleb (William), Laura Morgan (Daniel) and Morgan Gravitt; sister, Donna Gardner; brother, Joe Gravitt (Teresa); grandchildren, Malik, Braden, Aubrey, Will, Crimson, Nathan, Austin, Landon, Emmalin, and Elizabeth; several nieces and nephews Coy is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Margie Gravitt. Coy was a graduate of Wellborn High School, Class of 1974. He was an avid Alabama Fan. He worked many years as a truck driver and when he wasn't working he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
