Graveside services for Daniel Preston Burford, 56 of Ohatchee will be Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 2:00 at Oak Bowery Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Dunaway officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 until 1:30 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Mr. Burford passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 in Anniston.
Survivors include wife of 17 years Beverly Burford, his daughter Christy Wright (Alex), his sons Randall Engle, Anthony Hampton (Kristina), Dillon Price, his mother Joyce Burford, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Burford is preceded in death by his father Frank Burford.
Pallbearers will be Randall Engle, Alex Wright, Wayne Grantham, Anthony Hampton, Dillon Price, Tommy Smith.
Mr. Burford was a loving husband and father and a lifelong resident of Ohatchee. He was a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church. He served in the US Navy and retired from the Anniston Army Depot. He was an avid Alabama Fan and loved fishing and his dog Buddy.
