Daniel Raymond Seijo

Cataula, GA - Funeral services for Mr. Daniel Raymond Seijo, 80, of Cataula, GA, will be Wednesday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Seijo passed away Friday, November 4, 2016.

He is survived by his son, Dan Seijo (Joy); daughters, Helen Crews and Danita Creed (Jamie); sister, Ethel Jean Thurman; brother, Louis Seijo; grandchildren, Jamie Creed, Justin Creed, Helen Lambert, Daniel Greer, Danita Daniel, and Jordan Seijo; several great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Mr. Seijo is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Louise Seijo; son, John Seijo; grandson, John Seijo; parents, Joseph Seijo and Teresa Lugan; brothers, Richard Seijo and Raymond Seijo; and sister, Rose Marie DeSantis.

Mr. Seijo retired from the U.S. Army after 28 years and served during the Vietam Era. He was a well decorated soldier who received many awards, including the Purple Heart, and retired at the rank of Command Sergeant Major. He later retired from the Anniston Army Depot. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
