He attended Anniston High School in Anniston, Alabama and went on to receive his degree in Culinary Arts from Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon. He was the owner and operator of The Crossing on Noble and L&N Crossing in Anniston, Alabama for many years. He was an executive chef many establishments. His last executive chef position was at Warehouse 319 in Jasper, Alabama.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Jim and Ann Stephenson of Anniston, grandparents Otis and Inez Stephenson and Steve and Katherine Stephens.
He is survived by his son Nathan Stephenson, sister Karen Stephenson Godsey (John), brother Michael Stephenson, nieces Elizabeth Godsey, Ashley Stephenson and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
